TravelBlis is an editorial guide to luxury villa rentals. We cover the Mediterranean, Alps, Caribbean, and select aspirational destinations - exclusively at the GBP 1,500+/night level.

We are not a booking platform. We do not own properties, manage keys, or handle cleaning crews. We write about luxury villas with the same editorial rigour that publications like Conde Nast Traveller apply to hotels. Then we connect you with vetted agents who actually manage the properties.

What We Do

Curate. Every destination we cover serves the luxury villa market at genuine premium levels. We do not list 40,000 properties and call it curation. We list dozens, and we have opinions about every one.

Compare. Our editorial content provides the specific, comparative data that booking platforms bury. What does a four-bedroom villa with pool actually cost in Ibiza versus Mallorca? Is Courchevel worth the premium over Verbier? We publish the numbers.

Connect. Every agent on TravelBlis has been credentialled. We verify accreditations, inspect portfolios, and check service standards. When you enquire through TravelBlis, you are contacting an agent we have personally vetted.

Editorial Policy

Our editorial recommendations are independent. Agents pay for visibility on TravelBlis (directory listings, featured placement, destination sponsorships), but paid placement is always labelled. Our editorial content - destination guides, comparisons, pricing benchmarks - is never influenced by advertising relationships.

The GBP 1,500/Night Threshold

Everything on TravelBlis costs at least GBP 1,500 per night. This is not arbitrary snobbery - it is a curation signal. Below this threshold, Airbnb Luxe, Plum Guide, and similar platforms serve the market adequately. Above it, the rental experience is fundamentally different: staff, concierge services, bespoke arrangements, and a level of privacy that mass-market platforms cannot provide.

If you are looking for a GBP 500/night villa, there are excellent platforms for that. TravelBlis is not one of them, and we think that is a feature, not a limitation.
