It is smaller than the pools in the mega-chalets of 1850 - approximately 8 metres by 4 metres - but it is heated to 34 degrees and surrounded by a sun deck that catches the afternoon light. A gym with cardio equipment and free weights occupies a lower-level room adjacent to the pool. The Ariondaz gondola, a two-minute walk from the chalet door, rises to 2,000 metres and connects to the full Courchevel ski area. From there, the 3 Vallees network extends to Meribel, Les Menuires, and Val Thorens. Moriond village has several family-friendly restaurants, a ski equipment rental shop (10% discount for chalet guests), and a small supermarket for essentials. A shuttle bus runs to 1850 every 15 minutes for those who want to explore the main village's restaurants and nightlife.
