Chalet Bellecote sits directly on the Bellecote piste, Courchevel 1850's most famous run, with the kind of ski-in/ski-out access that defines the ultimate alpine experience: ski to the front door at the end of the day, step out of bindings onto the terrace, and hand your boots to the chalet staff. In the morning, the process reverses. The piste also serves as a position statement - the Bellecote is where Courchevel's most expensive hotels and chalets cluster, and proximity to it is the resort's primary measure of real estate value. The chalet was built in 2020 across 1,200 square metres of living space on five levels, connected by an internal glass elevator. The design combines Savoyard tradition - reclaimed barn wood, local stone, traditional roof lines - with unapologetic luxury. The main living space, a 100-square-metre room with triple-height ceilings and a suspended fireplace, looks directly down the Bellecote piste through a wall of glass. Eight bedrooms are individually designed, each with an en-suite bathroom finished in Italian marble, a walk-in wardrobe, and a balcony. The master suite includes a private sitting room, a dressing room, and a bathroom with a soaking tub positioned at the window facing the piste. The spa level contains a 15-metre indoor pool, a vitality pool, a Finnish sauna, a hammam, a sensory shower, and a treatment room staffed by a visiting therapist from the Cheval Blanc spa. The wine cave, temperature-controlled and carved from local stone, holds 1,500 bottles curated by a Burgundy-based sommelier. The chef trained under a two-Michelin-star kitchen in Paris and brings a French fine-dining approach to the chalet's table, with menus that balance Savoyard classics (Beaufort souffles, Reblochon tarts) with contemporary technique. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner are included; lunch can be arranged on the mountain or at the chalet. Courchevel 1850's restaurants, including the three-star Le 1947, are a 5-minute walk. The altiport, where private jets and helicopters land, is 3 minutes by car.
