Open pavilions with alang-alang grass roofs are connected by stone walkways through a garden of temple offerings, frangipani trees, and carved stone water features. The main living pavilion sits at the gorge edge with a 12-metre infinity pool that drops away into the jungle canopy below - the visual effect is of swimming through the treetops. Each bedroom occupies its own pavilion, creating genuine separation between guests. The primary suite has a four-poster bed facing the gorge, an outdoor bathroom with a volcanic stone soaking tub, and a meditation platform that cantilevers over the void. The pavilion configuration means every bedroom has 360-degree privacy and its own view of the valley. The villa's private compound includes a yoga shala, a Balinese spa room with two therapists available daily, and a permaculture garden that supplies the kitchen with herbs, chillies, and tropical fruit. The chef prepares both Balinese and international cuisine, with market visits to Ubud's morning market available for guests who want to join. Ubud's centre is a fifteen-minute drive, but the villa's location above the gorge feels significantly more remote. The rice terraces of Tegallalang are twenty minutes north. The sacred Monkey Forest and Ubud's galleries and restaurants are accessible by the villa's driver, available throughout your stay. Staff include a chef, two housekeepers, a gardener, a driver, and a security guard. Spa treatments are charged separately but available in-villa daily.
