Villa Porroig commands one of the most coveted positions on Ibiza's south coast: a terraced plot above Porroig, the secluded cove accessible only by sea or by a steep path from the cliffs above. The property was built in stages over three decades by a family who wanted a compound large enough to accommodate three generations without anyone feeling crowded. The result is five separate buildings connected by stone paths through Mediterranean gardens, with a total of nine bedrooms, three pools, and direct access to a cove that remains empty on most summer days. The main house contains the communal spaces: a vaulted living room with a fireplace, a dining room seating 20, and a kitchen where the resident chef prepares meals from a menu that changes daily. The design is traditional Ibizan throughout - whitewashed walls, terracotta tiles, exposed sabina beams - but the scale is generous, with ceiling heights of 4 metres in the principal rooms and windows framed to capture the sea view from every angle. Three guest houses are scattered through the garden, each containing two to three bedrooms with independent entrances, living areas, and kitchenettes. This layout allows multiple families or groups to share the compound while maintaining their own routines. A fifth building houses the staff quarters, a laundry, and a gym equipped with free weights, a rowing machine, and a Peloton bike. The three pools serve different purposes. The main pool, 22 metres long, sits on the central terrace with the broadest view of the coast. A shallower family pool, fenced and gated, occupies a lower terrace near two of the guest houses. A plunge pool beside the gym offers cold immersion after workouts. The path to Porroig cove descends through wild rosemary and juniper, emerging at a pebble beach with calm, crystalline water. The property's tender - a 9-metre Zodiac Medline with a skipper available daily - is moored in the cove, offering access to the string of south coast calas, Formentera's beaches, and the seafood restaurant at Es Torrent, reachable only by boat. Ibiza airport is 20 minutes by car. The property offers helicopter transfers for guests who prefer to avoid the summer road traffic.
