Finca Santa Eulalia is one of the oldest continuously inhabited properties on Ibiza's eastern coast. The original farmhouse dates to the early 1800s, and successive owners have added wings, courtyards, and outbuildings without compromising the traditional Ibizan finca architecture: whitewashed walls two feet thick, small windows designed to keep out summer heat, and flat roofs used for drying figs and almonds. The current owners completed a sensitive restoration in 2020, adding modern plumbing, underfloor heating, and a professional kitchen while preserving every original beam and stone archway. The property sits within 8 acres of agricultural land that remain productive. A vineyard of Monastrell and Malvasia grapes produces enough fruit for 600 bottles annually - the wine is made at a cooperative in Sant Mateu and bottled under the finca's own label. An ancient olive press in the courtyard, restored to working condition, processes olives from the property's 40 trees each November. Guests staying during harvest season are welcome to participate. Five bedrooms are distributed across the main house and an adjoining cottage. The main house holds three suites on the upper floor, each with exposed beam ceilings and hand-painted cement tile floors original to the building. The cottage, connected by a covered walkway through the courtyard, contains two ground-floor bedrooms with direct garden access - well suited for guests who prefer independence or families with young children. The courtyard is the heart of the property: a square of packed earth shaded by a 150-year-old fig tree, with a long stone table that seats 14 for dinner. Most evening meals happen here, prepared by the resident chef using produce from the kitchen garden, fish from the Santa Eulalia port, and meat from the island's cooperative farms. The wine served is almost always from the finca's own vineyard. A 15-metre pool sits on the southern terrace, overlooking the vineyard rows and the sea beyond. The nearest beach, Cala Llonga, is a 12-minute drive through the hills. Santa Eulalia town, with its riverside promenade, marina, and the island's best selection of restaurants outside Ibiza town, is 10 minutes away.
