The trade-off is that it is not ski-in/ski-out: a five-minute drive or a 10-minute walk reaches the main lifts. For guests who prefer peace and privacy over piste-side convenience, the Hameau is the better choice. The chalet's concierge provides shuttle service to the lifts each morning and collects guests at the end of the ski day. The combination of traditional larch timber and contemporary glass gives the chalet a character that sits between old and new. The structural timbers are reclaimed from a 19th-century Valaisan hay barn, their surfaces darkened by decades of alpine weather.
